This website has an amazing amount of information. I spent hours looking at information about the tribes in my state, New York. I was able to look at a map showing the area where each tribe was. Then I went on to look at the Onondaga, which was next to where I lived for 7 years and on that part of the web site I could look at audio files of the language being spoken, there are kids activities, stories, history and legends. Another very cool thing on this web site is that you can learn some native words such as hello in Onondaga, Onondaga: Sge:no! (pronounced "slay-no")
I am very interested in both languages and folklore so this site was so much fun to explore.
As I was looking at the site I also explored the Hidatsa tribe which is the tribe I am researching for my written paper. There is loads of information.
I like websites that are very easy to get around. This site is perfect for me. It is easy to navigate, the information is pretty basic and fun and there is loads of interesting facts. I highly recommend this web site.
